Who we are?

Founded in 1990.
Pioneers in dna analysis for biological determination of parency

Founded in 1990, we are pioneers in DNA profiling for the determination of biological parency. Previously we operated through the Genómica subsidiary. with it we became the first private laboratory to obtain the 17025 accreditation in human genetic identification, which guarantees the reliability of the results obtained from various types of samples.

We are currently included in the UNCITRAL Justice List. (National Commission for the Forensic Use of DNA), which allows us to to perform forensic analysis in collaboration with the Foreign Ministry. Over the course of several years of collaboration, we have worked under the Genomica brand, and now we operate directly under the brand of the parent company, Citogen.

Our team in the Genetic Identification Unit has a vast experience in the field of forensic genetics, including training in population genetics, anthropology, anthropology, osteology, forensic and judicial assessment.

“Our scientific integrity is based on the reliability of the biological parency analysis for identification purposes the UNE-EN ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Standard, which is specifically designed for testing laboratories and accredits the working conditions necessary to achieve guaranteed results and samples with absolute traceability. With more than 30 years of commitment to this approach to our work, we are backed by a solid foundation in terms of scientific integrity.”
